Mureș Corridor

The Deva–Simeria–Orăștie corridor along the Mureș river — towns, fortresses and Romania's oldest dendrological park.

The Mureș corridor links the county's main towns and is home to the Simeria Dendrological Park, opened in the mid-18th century — the oldest and one of the richest dendrological collections in Romania, with over 2,100 tree and shrub taxa.

The area is a good starting point for the rest of the county, crossed by the main road and rail routes.
