Burjuc

A commune on the Mureș Gorge, in the west of the county, with four wooden churches from the 18th–19th centuries.

Burjuc is a commune in Hunedoara County, made up of 6 villages: Burjuc, Brădățel, Glodghilești, Petrești, Tătărăști and Tisa.

Sights in the commune include the wooden churches of Brădățel (19th c., a listed monument), Tisa (18th c., a listed monument), Glodghilești and Tătărăști (18th c.). The area also has the Natura 2000 site Mureș Gorge.
