Gurasada
A commune on the Mureș Gorge, with the 13th-century Saint Archangel Michael church, a manor house and wooden churches.
Gurasada is a commune in Hunedoara County, made up of 11 villages: Gurasada, Boiu de Jos, Boiu de Sus, Cărmăzănești, Câmpuri de Sus, Câmpuri-Surduc, Dănulești, Gothatea, Runcșor, Ulieș and Vica.
Sights in the commune include Saint Archangel Michael church in Gurasada (13th c.), the Klobosiski manor, the wooden churches of Boiu de Jos (17th c.), Cărmăzănești (1741), Dănulești, Gothatea and Câmpuri de Sus, and the “Andrica Sinefta” wooden house in Boiu de Sus (19th c.). The area also has the “Boiu de Sus Limestones” reserve and the Natura 2000 site Mureș Gorge.
