Pestișu Mic is a commune in Hunedoara County, made up of 9 villages: Pestișu Mic, Almașu Mic, Ciulpăz, Cutin, Dumbrava, Josani, Mănerău, Nandru and Valea Nandrului.

Sights in the commune include the wooden church of Saint Nicholas in Almașu Mic (1624, a listed monument) and the archaeological site at Nandru. Until 1851, Pestișu Mic belonged to the 1st Border Regiment of Orlat.
