Romos
A commune near Orăștie, with the Romos rural ensemble, a Lutheran church and old 18th–19th-century churches.
Romos is a commune in the centre of Hunedoara County, made up of the villages of Romos (the seat), Ciungu Mare, Pișchinți, Romoșel and Vaidei. The village of Romos keeps a rural ensemble listed as a historic monument.
It has the Evangelical-Lutheran church, the 18th-century Evangelical parish house and the Church of the Ascension, from 1775. Romoșel has the Orthodox church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit (1847) and the Greek-Catholic church of the Dormition (1839).
