Retezat National Park tickets can now be paid online or by SMS

Visitors heading to the Retezat mountains can now pay the park's visitor fee in advance: online, on iaBilet.ro and Easy2Visit, or by text message to 7494 (Romanian mobile networks), sending PNR1 for one person, PNR2 for two people and so on, up to PNR5. By SMS, the price is €2 + VAT per ticket.

The fee is 10 lei per person, VAT included, and the ticket is valid for seven days. It can still be bought at the park's access points, at the Nucșoara visitor centre or from authorised staff. The money supports the park's conservation and protection work.
