Pietrele Hut – Vârful Mare trail (Retezat)

A day climb from Pietrele Hut to Vârful Mare, one of the massif's important secondary peaks.

Marked with a red triangle (with red-dot sections), the trail starts at Pietrele Hut (1,480 m) and climbs for about 4 hours to Vârful Mare.

It's part of the network of trails converging on Pietrele Hut, the busiest access point in the northern part of Retezat National Park.
