Conacul Rădăcinilor (“Manor of Roots”) is a hotel, restaurant and leisure complex opened in 2023 on Jiet Street (DN7A), in the Jieț Gorge, within Petrila town, on the way to the Transalpina road. Its rustic architecture, built with solid wood and greenery, houses over 25 rooms, a wellness & spa area with a jacuzzi and heated sauna, a salt therapy room, a restaurant, a “Green Bar”, a terrace, and event and conference spaces.
The complex runs guided mountain hikes and partners with a nearby equestrian centre (Keops Horses), making it a good base both for a relaxing weekend and for exploring the Jieț gorge and the Parâng plateau.
