Castelul Maria Villa, Bănpotoc
A villa built as a small castle with a tower, in the village of Bănpotoc (Hărău commune), a few kilometres from Deva: a 7,000 sq m garden, a Finnish sauna and family events.
Castelul Maria Villa stands in the village of Bănpotoc, Hărău commune, near Deva. It is an old building designed as a small castle with a tower, set in a large garden of about 7,000 sq m with flowers and fruit trees. The castle has three apartments with their own decor (red, blue and beige) and a tower room with panoramic views. A few minutes' walk away, Casa Maria adds seven rooms with private bathrooms, four of them with a balcony.
Guests can book a session in the Finnish sauna overlooking the garden separately. Breakfast is served as a buffet, and dinner is ordered in advance. For small weddings, festive dinners, parties and business meals there are two dining rooms and a covered terrace, for up to 40 people. Nearby starting points include Deva Fortress, Corvin Castle in Hunedoara, the Simeria Dendrological Park and the Dacian fortresses of the Orăștie Mountains.
