Wooden church
Wooden Church, Rădulești
An 18th-century wooden church, enlarged in 1790 and painted throughout inside.

The wooden church of St Paraskeva in Rădulești, Dobra commune, was built in the 18th century; tradition and sources give different years for its construction. It originally had a polygonal altar, a modest nave and a low bell tower to the west.
In 1790, under the priest Gheorghie, it was enlarged: a bay was added, the tower was raised and given a gallery, and the walls were plastered inside and painted throughout, as was the iconostasis. A narrow porch on a stone base was added in 1888. The church appears on the Josephine map of Transylvania (1769–1773).
