“Avram Iancu” Educational Swimming Pool, Petroșani

The “Avram Iancu” Educational Swimming Pool in Petroșani is a semi-Olympic pool measuring 12.5 × 25 m, with variable depth between 1.20 and 1.80 m, located on Oituz Street, in the Aeroport district. The facility includes a sauna, changing rooms and a table-tennis table, used both for swimming lessons for pupils and for open swimming.

After modernisation works (heating plant, roof, ventilation), the pool reopened to the public on 20 October 2025.
