Petroșani
The university town of the Jiu Valley and the gateway to the Parâng plateau.

Petroșani is the main town of the Jiu Valley, the centre of the coal basin and home to the University of Petroșani — successor of the Mining Institute, operating here since 1948.
A chairlift from the town goes up to the Parâng plateau, one of the county's closest ski and hiking areas.
That entry does not exist.
